For the Kreator shaped picture discs “Victory Will Come” and “Death To The World” we needed a matching inlay artwork.

We licensed tracks form the Kreator Album “Phantom Antichrist” to produce a shaped picture disc. Soon it was clear that we want to press a total of 4 tracks so we needed to come up with two different shapes and decided to go for one layout and use different color gradings with one being reddish and the other one blueish. For the main layout to be used as a front artwork for the shape we used already existing parts from the album cover and modified them to fit our needs. For the backside of the shape as well as the inlay cardboards we wanted to come up with a pile of skulls. To be able to create a consistent overall theme we had to build that pile of skulls as a 3D model. For this, all elements were modeled, textured and illuminated and some details have been added followed by the final color gradings.
