For the Anthrax shaped picture disc “Blood Eagle Wings” we re-created their Logo as a stone & glass version.

When thinking about a good layout for the Anthrax shape “Blood Eagle Wings” we wanted to come up with an artwork matching the main theme of the album “For All Kings”. We decided to create an Anthrax Logo that looks like a church window but more realistic like the one on the album cover. The difficult part was to create an authentic looking lead glass effect. To make it possible we had to model everything in 3D and play around with different angles and light effects. The final result should be the band-logo as a lead glass window framed by crowned skulls made of stone. For this, all elements were modeled, textured and illuminated and after this we added some more details and finished with the final color gradings.
